Did the cops over react? Yes
Was the kid being a collasal pain in the ass? Unquestionably.
Whether his questions were valid is immaterial. He was being an obnoxious prick who was more interested in hearing his own voice than Kerry's answers.
But the tasering was certainly not necessary.
What disturbs me more is that, with a couple exceptions, everyone in the audience just watched. Seems to me a couple hundred people could take on 8 cops if they wanted to...but collective rebellion flies in the face of comfortable wealth and suburban lethargy.
