Hopefully you took our advice to hold off on purchasing that new Ipod, because Engadget has the scoop on the new Ipod that will be shipping soon. The highlights: Touchscreen (just like the iphone) and Wifi capability.

I very much want to continue to be against the rage over the new iPhone, therefore I also want to be against the new generation of iPods. I can, however, totally admit that wifi capabilities would be a definite plus to the original iPod package. Maybe I'm just a huge dork? Maybe I am just enraged that cellphones are marketed at such ridiculous prices? I still would wait until the new touch-screen iPods came out with larger memory capacity. What's with 8GB and 16GB? As if Apple doesn't have the capabilities to include wifi and more memory into these little gadgets. Step up your game, Apple!
