Okkervil River at the 40 Watt

Last night was the Okkervil River show at the 40 Watt, and Hebb and I went down to check it out. The lead singer, Will Sheff, was wasted (it was the first time I have ever seen a band of that profile have to stop and start a song over); we had the feeling that at any time the band was about 15 seconds away from completely imploding on stage. However, by the second half Will had downed a half gallon of water and they managed to pull it together (Rock and Roll, woooooo!!!). It was a damn good show all the way around, seriously.
